Michelle Preen is a South African writer based in the coastal village of Kommetjie, near Cape Town, at the southernmost tip of Africa. She works in environmental communications and is a university graduate with a passion for both storytelling and nature. Her short stories have appeared in a number of anthologies and magazines across Africa and beyond, and she has also written several children's picture books.
